Ark Technologies, Inc., was established in 1980 as a manufacturer of precision springs. The company was founded by Al Kabeshita, current Chairman of the company. Ark has grown and diversified into precision stampings, clips, metal formings, and value-added assemblies. Today, We are located in St. Charles, IL in a modern 72,000 sq. ft. building, and employ over 100 associates. We have over 80 production machines, of which more than 50 are CNC Spring Forming Machines. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has also resulted in numerous Performance Awards from our customers as well as the "2000 Manufacturer of the Year Award" from the Asian American Alliance and Illinois Governor's Office.
1980: Established Riken Spring, Inc. by Al Kabeshita, Riken Spring Japan and Suncall, Japan in Elk Grove, IL.
1987: Riken Spring Japan sold its ownership and stock to Al Kabeshita & Suncall, Japan. 73% Kabeshita family, 27% Suncall.
1993: Changed name to Ark Technologies, Inc. Built and moved to a new 36,000 sq. ft. facility in St. Charles, IL.
1994: Received Minority Certification.
1997: Completed 36,000 sq. ft. building expansion.
1998: Received QS-9000 Certification.
2000: Received "Manufacturer of the Year" Award from Asian American Alliance and Illinois Governor's Office.
2002: Suncall, Japan sold its ownership and stock to Kabeshita family.
2003: Received ISO 9001:2000 Certification.
2005: Celebrated 25th Anniversary.
2010: Arata (AL) Kabeshita received "Order of RISING SUN" presented by Japanese Emperor
2010: Celebrated 30th Anniversary.
